KARACHI – Immediate after the touching to record business score in Karachi Stock Exchange, the economic hub of Pakistan, Karachi, once again shut down due to strike as the MQM worker Sohail Ahmad was kidnapped and murdered last day on Wednesday in Karachi, PakistanTribe reported.
According to detail Sohail Ahmad, unit incharge of MQM was kidnapped and later he was found dead due to which MQM is observing one day mourn in all over the country especially in Karachi.
MQM leader Altaf Hussain had strongly condemned the murder of his worker and appealed government to punish the responsible.
Due to strike in Karachi, all inter city transport have been jammed due to which most of the offices are also closed. Shops, markets, courts and shopping centers are closed and life activities have been suspended.
Further to this in inner sindh areas and big cities of Sindh including Hyderabad, Sukkur, Nawab Shah and Mir Pur Khas MQM is also observing shutter down strike which has jammed life there.
Earlier in Sindh provincial assembly, MQM had raised point about the kidnapping and murder of their party and put all the blame indirectly on security forces which are taking advantage of operation.
In respond to their allegation, Chirf Minister Sindh had said that the decision of operation in Karachi was the mutual decision of all parties including MQM.
