ISLAMABAD – Opposition leader of National Assembly of Pakistan and Pakistan Peoples Party senior member Syed Khursheed Shah has demanded investigation of the petrol crises in country through Supreme Court of Pakistan.
The Opposition leader Khursheed Shah has declared Prime Minister of Pakistan responsible for fuel crises in a press conference at his residence last night.
Khursheed Shah has suggested Naveed Qamar as Petroleum Minister to government while discarding the decision of investigation through Additional Secretary General.
He demanded a senior Judge of the Supreme Court to carry out the Investigations.
Commenting over the Finance minister’s statement “conspiracy against government”, Shah asked him to telling the person behind this conspiracy?
Opposition Leader Khursheed shah asked six questions from government in press conference;
1. Who is behind petrol crises?
2. How long will it takes to overcome petrol crisis?
3. When will government pay to Pakistan State Oil (PSO) for buying Petrol?
4. How much petrol is being imported?
5. What measures have done for importing petrol in country?
6. Who conspired against Government?
Opposition leader said, “due to the incompetency of government, country faces crises after crises, and when the petrol crises started, government avoided the issue.”
Opposition leader made it clear that if the peoples’ rights were violated, PPP would raise his voice for people’s rights.
