ISLAMABAD – Advisor to Prime Minister Security and Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz has written a letter to the Secretary General of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) urging OIC take stand against the blasphemous sketches of the French magazine Charlie Hebdo.
He demanded that OIC should take all the Islamic and countries on board against Charlie Hebdo.
It is pertinent to mention that French weekly magazine was published some blasphemous scketches of the messenger Muhammad (PBUH).
Protests came into being from Muslim countries as a result.
As a reaction Charlie Hebdo was attacked many times by Yemen alqaida killing 17 people and the group was accepted the attack responsibility.
The attack was harshly condemned by the European countries.
After the attack, Charlie Hebdo once again published these type blasphemous caricatures of Muhammad (PBUH) on next week.
A strong layer of the protest and condemnation have risen from worldwide Muslim countries.
In Pakistan protest are still continue against Charlie Hebdo’s controversial act.
Pakistan’s government was passed a resolution against the blasphemous caricatures and held a protest against Charlie Hebdo.
