RIYADH – Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) has planned to sue the controversial act of Charlie Hebdo as it published anti -Islamic sketch.
Secretary General of the organisation Iyad Madani while speaking to reporters in Riyadh said that freedom of speech has its limits and must not offend others.
Iyad Madani added that the anti-Islamic from the “survivor issue”, the latest publication of Charlie Hebdo magazine have hurt the sentiments of Muslims across the world.

“Freedom of speech must not become a hate speech and must not offend others. No sane person, irrespective of doctrine, religion or faith, accepts his beliefs being ridiculed,”[TRANSLATION].
Paris had already been attacked due to these sketches but immediate after the attack another time sketches were published in latest magazine titled as ‘survivor issue’.
It is pertinent to mention here that Pope Francis, religious leader of Catholic Christian, had also condemned the anti-Religious sketches and said that freedom of expression does not mean to hurt the feelings of other.
He said that the person who hurts other’s religious sentiments should expect a punch on his nose.
