US Continued Its Drone Strikes On Taliban Hideout.PakistanTribe.Com

PESHAWAR – US drone fired a missile on hideout of militants in North Waziristan killing at least 4 people in Shahi Kheil area of Shawal.

According to the reports, a drone fired a missile on a compound in ‘Shahi Kheil’ North in which four people got killed. More killings are feared in the incident.

Flights of drone planes are continue in the area.

This is 3rd drone strike of the year while eight alleged militants were killed in previous strike. And seven militants were killed in the drone strike on 15 January.

It is pertinent to mention that after the attack on Army Public School of Peshawar the Army Chief Of Pakistan visited Afghanistan and talked to Afghan President and Afghan authorities to conduct operation against terrorist.

In the visit, Army chief and ISI chief also demanded from the allied forces along with Afghan army to hit the hide-outs of the terrorists in areas adjacent to Pakistan specially ‘Kuntar’.

North Waziristan, Khyber Agency, Aurakzai agency and all the seven agencies located near Afghanistan border are considered safe havens of the militants.

After the failure of negotiations between the Tehreek Taliban Pakistan and Pak Army and after the attack of Karachi Airport, Pakistan army launched Operation Zarb-e-Azab on 15th June 2014 in North Waziristan against Taliban.

After cleaning the area Tehseel Meer Ali North Waziristan, the operation was extended to the remote areas of North Waziristan.
