Police Crackdown In Peshawar And Faisalabad.PakistanTribe.Com

FAISALABAD/PESHAWAR – Police and intelligence agencies launched a search operation in Faisalabad and Peshawar and arrested many suspects, PakistanTribe reported.

Police and intelligence agencies arrested 10 suspects form different parts of Faisalabad city. Police have also arrested Habib Ul Rahman Siddique – District President of outlawed militant movement – from Faisalabad.

Further in another search operation, Police have arrested almost 400 suspects from Peshawar in a search operation launched earlier on Friday.

Police arrested Afghans who were residing illegally inhere and other suspects.

Senior Superintendent Police (SSP) said that security forces have also participated in this operation and more than 470 suspects were arrested.

Police further told that ammunition including pistols, guns and bullets were recovered from the suspects.

The operation was launched as police in Peshawar received a tip-off about any possible attack on ‘Bacha Khan Airport’.
