KABUL – Afghan forces killed 32 Taliban and arrested 52 including the Taliban Commander in an operation launched in different provinces of Afghanistan, PakistanTribe reported.
In an operation launched to destroy the hideouts of militants in of Afghanistan, Security Forces of Afghanistan killed 32 militants and arrested 52 out of which one was the commander who was wanted in different terrorist activities.
The operation continued for 24 hours in different provinces including Qandhar, Hilmand, Nangarhaar, Laghman and Parwan where 32 Taliban were Killed and 52 has arrested.
Heavy ammunition and explosive were also recovered from the hideouts of Taliban. Sources further told that two Afghan official also embraced martyrdom.
Afghan officials said that it was a combine operation with the involvement of Intelligence agencies, police and Afghan security forces.
It is pertinent to mention that Last month immediate after the deadly attack on Peshawar Army Public School, Chief Of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif had visited the Afghanistan President and provided him the concrete evidences about the involvement of Taliban in the attack.
Ashraf Ghani had promised to cooperate with Pakistan to eradicate terrorism from the region.
