KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah announced to form a judicial commission to probe killing of MQM workers in police custody.
Adviser to Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Waqar Mehdi said action will be triggered against any police personnel, in case proof was found to substantiate his involvement in the extra-judicial assassinations.
Earlier, The Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) on Sunday announced to extend the day of mourning on Monday against the killing of MQM’s worker.
Member of National Assembly belonging to Mqm Hyder Abbas Rizvi announced to extend the day of mourning on monday against the killing of worker belonging to MQM.
MQM also calls shutter down strike on January 12. While talking to media persons Hyder Abbas sad that according to the decision of Rabta Committee the end the protest from CM house.
Aaccording to the details, the decision was taken at an ‘emergency’ meeting of the party’s Rabita Committee, which has also been endorsed by MQM chief Altaf Hussain.
Soon after the reports of the strike on local media, shops and businesses reportedly started to shut in different neighbourhoods of Karachi.
