LAHORE – Rana Mashood – Education Minister Punjab – says that all the Educational institutes will be opened from 12th January all over the Punjab.
Rana Mashood was talking to media about re-opening of Schools and said that “Educational Institutes will be reopen in Punjab from 12th January,” he further sad that “Punjab has completed its preparations and the nation will collectively face the terrorism.”
The educational minister further said a special branch had been formed for educational institutions, adding that security would be increased. He said boundary walls for several schools were being constructed and additional Close Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV) cameras would also be installed.
He said that the protection of the properties and lives of the people would be ensured. Action would be taken against the owners of schools who do not implement security instruction, he added.
Replying a question about Taliban he said that “there is no question of ‘Good and Bad Taliban’ now,” he said that now its time compete this terrorism with collective efforts.
He also said that NCC training will be given to students in Punjab so that they may combat any terrorist activity.
Talking about the role of public he said that ‘Neighborhood watch’ and ‘youth volunteer’ programmes are started to aware people about their responsibility.
