RAWALPINDI/ISLAMABAD – People of twin cities started unusual morning due to electricity failure in most of the areas, PakistanTribe reported.
Electricity failure on office/School going time created many problem in twin cities. It is the second in a month when people started their morning in darkness.
The same was happened back in December when people faced a long duration load shedding for hours.
In working areas of offices the backup small generators/power suppliers have also collapsed and people are waiting for electricity. People of twin cities are also facing problem in gas supplies as there is not enough pressure of gas to cook food.
Earlier in Karachi in May 2014 electricity was failed due to problem in grid stations.
The result of circuit trip had caused power outage in more than half of the city, one source of Karachi Electricity Supply Company (KESC) otherwise known as K-Electric said.
Domestic consumers along with hospitals faced problems due to power outages in most parts of the provincial capital.
The heat wave in the metropolis further created problems for the citizens as mercury was rises to 34+ degree Celsius. Moreover, the power outages had created the shortfall and scarcity of drinking water in the city of over 20 million.
