RAHIM YAR KHAN – Dense fog caused accident at Khan Bela near Rahim Yar Khan in which 17 person injured five of them are at critical stage, Rescue sources told PakistanTribe.
Fog on Grand Trunk (GT) Road caused serous injuries of five people and normal injuries to 12.
Rescue sources told that three buses and a freight carrying truck collided on GT Road at Khan bela near Rahim Yar Khan. The reason told for accident is denser fog on road which made the visibility level almost zero.
All the injured have shifted to nearest hospital.
Growing fog on roads is causing accidents every day. Earlier a week ago rescue sources told PakistanTribe that in another accident in Rahim Yar Khan two persons died on the spot in road accident which was caused by fog.
Accidents due to heavy fog are being reported around the country for the last one month. Earlier A truck collided with a passenger van in Mandi Bahauddin and four died at the spot including two women.
In the end of December an accident was reported in which two buses near Rinala Khurd collided thirty persons injured five of whom were serous and shifted to hospital.
The same day, on GT Road near Yousufwala Sahiwal four buses were collided and 15 persons got serous injury who have been shifted to hospital.
Rescue sources told that all these accidents occurred due to heavy fog on the roads and zero visibility.
