Protest march to be held towards Bangladeshi consulate against unjustified execution of JI leaders: Dr Meraj | PakistanTribeKARACHI – Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Sindh Chief Dr Mairaj-ul-Huda Siddiqui has announced that a protest march towards Bangladeshi Consulate is to be held against the unjustified execution of JI leaders in Bangladesh.


He made this announcement while addressing a protest demonstration of JI workers, outside Karachi Press Club (KPC) against the death penalty to the JI Bangladeshi leader Mullah Qadir.

Dr Siddiqui regretted that the Pakistan Foreign Office and other federal government institutions were remained silent on the unjustified execution of JI leaders in Bangladesh.

“The ray of Islam has been raised from Bangladesh and will soon spread in the entire world”, he added.

On the occasion, the participants also approved a resolution unanimously in which demanded that Bangladeshi envoy to Pakistan should be ousted from the country.

Speaking at the occasion, JI Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman demanded that the United Nations (UN) should raise its voice against the atrocities being continued with the JI leaders.

Hafiz Naeem also demanded of the UN to declare the so-called tribunals and the execution of JI leaders in Bangladesh as “invalid”.
“We reject all such so-called tribunals, which gave verdicts against JI leaders, adding that the JI does not accept violation of human rights in Bangladesh”, he added.

JI Karachi Chief said that the judicial terrorism is being continued in Bangladesh, as those who sacrificed their lives for the solidarity of Pakistan, have been victimized by Bangladeshi government.

Speaking at the occasion, Hafiz Naeem said that Hasina Wajid should recall her memory that the JI has already contested general elections with the alliance of Awami Tehreek in the past.

“The government of Hasina Wajid just to please India is being committed atrocities on JI leaders in Bangladesh”, he added.

The protesters raised placards, banners and posters inscribed with “To save Pakistan in 1971 is no war crime”, “We condemned execution orders of Mullah Qadir”, “We condemn the 90-year imprisonment of Prof. Ghulam Azam” and etc. They also chanted slogans against Shaikh Hasina Wajid government and demanded withdrawal of punishments against JI leaders.
