LONDON – Imran Khan, who is known for his strong will power, had to leave the press briefing at London’s airport over a question about the marriage.
The journalists had gathered around Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) when he was coming Pakistan back after meeting his sons at the London.
Some reports had claimed that the visit was to take his sons in confidence regarding his second marriage, a thing some PTI officials denied. They were of the view that Khan was on a personal visit to meet his sons, who live the mother, Jemima Khan.
“Marriage is neither a crime nor a thing to conceal,” Imran Khan said after answering questions regarding political situation in the country.
“I will inform the nation at the right time,” he further said.
However, when he was asked whether he should be congratulated over the marriage, Khan left the briefing.
The news about the marriage emerged last week following reports that PTI chief had married BBC anchor Reham Khan. Both have neither denied nor confirmed the news.
