SARGODHA – Death toll raised in Sargodha as two more infant moralities reported in District Head Quarter (DHQ) due to less medical facilities, PakistanTribe reported.
Pakistan Tribe received reports from District Head Quarter Sargodha where two more infant mortality occurred as there was not enough facilities of oxygen supply to keep them alive.
Death toll of infants is raising every passing day .Chief Minister Punjab has taken strict notice of the incident and suspended the concerned authorities.
Earlier four days ago two infants were died due to less medical facilities in the same hospital. The death toll have now raise to 88 infants in the previous 51 days and all these deaths were reported due to less medical facilities.
The provincial government has not been able to provide the hospital with proper technical facilities required for the treatment of infants and children despite the promises of Chief Minister of Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
The grieving parents said that the administration has failed to address the issue.
Same issue was faced in Larkana when five babies including four infant were died in Larkana Children Hospital due to failure of Oxygen Supply.
Sources told that five children including four infant were died due to unavailability of oxygen in the hospital. According to Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Saifullah due to shortage of funds bill was not paid to contractor and he suspended the supply of Oxygen.
