PPP to Hold Prayers Instead of Cutting Cakes on Bhutto's Anniversary, Qaim Ali Shah | PakistanTribe.com

KARACHI: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Sindh chapter’s president, Qaim Ali Shah has advised all the party officials to hold prayers instead of cutting cakes on account of the birth anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

PPP has cancelled the celebrations of the 86th birth anniversary of its founding chairman, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto in the mourning of the gruesome Peshawar bloodshed.

Zulfikar Ali Bhutto revered as the Quaid-i-Awam was born on January 5, 1928. The celebrations of his 86th birth anniversary were cancelled on Sunday in view of the Peshawar school massacre which claimed 148 lives, mostly children, a few days ago.

It was reported that the birth anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto will be observed with simplicity, prayers will be held at all the PPP offices countrywide for heightening of the stages of party’s founding chairman and the martyrs of Peshawar incident, in the hereafter.

PPP Sindh chapter’s president, Qaim Ali Shah has advised all the party officials to hold prayers instead of cutting cakes on account of the birth anniversary of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.
