KARACHI – Orangi Town area residents protested against the police due to frequent raids on their homes on the name of searching suspects from the area, PakistanTribe received televised reports.
People of Orangi town Karachi protested against the frequent raids of police on their home and arresting their beloved ones on the name of suspects.
People of the area said that this is violation of law and police is violating its authorities and teasing the public for nothing. They also said that police is arresting their beloved ones on the name of search operation.
They called this act of police as ‘Police Gardi’ and said that police’s responsibility is to ensure security of citizens not to tease them on the name of Law.
Search operations around the country started after the deadly attack on school in Peshawar.
Earlier two weeks ago Rangers had arrested six terrorists from different areas of Karachi city in search operation against militants. Rangers launched a search operation in Majeed Colony, S.I.T.E area and Frontier colony of the city.
According to spokesman of Pakistan Rangers these terrorists were the members of outlawed movements.
