ISLAMABAD/ NEW DELHI – Firing on the Rangers called for Flag Meeting and killing of two rangers was portraited as the BSF Retaliation of rangers firing as Indian Media says that fire was triggered from Pakistan first.
Indian Border Security Forces killed two Rangers of Pakistan on Wednesday and a civilian teenager girl of 16 year early morning on Saturday. Pakistan defense minister aggressively sid that we are peaceful but not weak.
However Indian media portraits this incident with its own angle and says that BSF fired in response to the fire from Rangers.
A famous Indian daily sates “Five Pakistan Rangers have been killed since Thursday after Indian security forces retaliated to heavy firing near the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir.”
It should also be remembered that India is claiming Line of Control (LoC) as International Border.
Talking about the lose of Indian side it says that “Four civilians – two each in Kathua and Samba districts – have been injured in the firing by Pakistani troops.”
It further stated about the decision taken on government level about retaliation to Rangers fire that “Home Minister Rajnath Singh ordered the BSF to respond with ‘appropriate’ action to the cross-border firing; the firing was unprovoked, said the Home Ministry.”
Indian media also appreciated the bravery of BSF and claimed that Pakistani Rangers requested for ceasefire after the massive retaliation from BSF. It stated that “India stopped firing when Pakistan Rangers raised a white flag, requesting time to remove the bodies.”
