KARACHI – MQM leader Altaf Hussain Says that establishment of Military courts and a National Operation against Taliban is the victory of MQM stance on Talibanization as MQM was stressing about operation long ago.
MQM leader Altaf Hussain said that this is a mature decision of government that they made a strategy to encounter militancy. Though it was late yet it will be fruitful for the nation.
He also talked about his political vision and said that “Political leadership of Pakistan used to treat me non-seriously about Taliban issue but today our stance has been adopted as a national cause’
He stressed that the establishment of Military courts should be for hard core terrorists not for political leadership as it is not a Martial Law but it is the constitutional room for increasing the authorities of military.
Earlier last week MQM leader Dr Farooq Sattar said MQM had said for 10 years that this was Pakistan’s war — a statement the government has finally accepted.
“The MQM was the first party to give suggestions for the anti-terrorism policy,” Farooq Sattar said while addressing a press conference.
“Altaf bhai has been speaking out against militancy and has warned of the the threat of militancy for a long time.” He added
