ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has invited all parliamentary parties’ leaders in Islamabad today (Friday) to review progress of implementation of the anti-terrorism National Action Plan.
All parliamentary parties’ leaders have been invited in a crucial meeting by PM Nawaz Sharif to review developments in implementation of NAP in Pakistan. Consultation to root out terrorism and extremism would also be made by parliamentary parties regarding to-be-constituted national plan.
Former president Asif Ali Zardari has also been invited for the meeting at Prime Minister House in Islamabad.
The prime minister will consult with political leaders over the implementation of the national action plan for counter-terrorism.
Sharif is also expected to address the concerns of some political parties over the formation of the military courts in the country.
Two major opposition parties Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) have expressed reservations over the constitution of military courts after earlier agreeing over thematter.
