KARACHI/ LAHORE – Airport authorities of Lahore and Karachi have closed the flight operation at air port due to weather conditions, PakistanTribe received reports.
According to sources airport authorities of Jinnah International air port Karachi have suspended the flight operation at air port due to unfavorable weather conditions.
Dusty wind is blowing in Karachi due to which run way was not clear. Visibility level at run way was near to zero due to huge dust in wind.
In suspension of operation at airport a flight PK 600 has also diverted to Muscat as there was not favorable condition for landing.
Further at Allama Iqbal International airport run way is already closed as last day during landing the excel rod of jet was broken due to which plane could not land properly and blocked the runway.
The crane which was pulling the plane also failed to pull as its rod was also broke in operation.
Airport authorities said that they will reopen the airport for flights as soon as possible.
