RAWALPINDI – Corp commander meeting in the presidency of General Raheel Sharif is under way in General Head Quarter (GHQ) Rawalpindi, PakistanTribe received reports.

Inter Service Public Relation (ISPR) confirmed that corp commander meeting is proceeding under the presidency of General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff.

As per the agendas of meeting, the security situation internally and externally is under discussion. Operation Zarb e Azb and Khyber one will also be reviewed.

Further the professional skills and training workshops for the year 2014 for soldiers will also be discussed. The situation of border, working borders and line of control (LoC) is also in the agenda of  corp commander meeting.

Pakistan Army has launched intelligence search operations in side the country. The strategy to get maximum results from the intelligence reports will also be discussed in corp commander meeting.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan Army is to establish military courts for terrorists with the consent and approval of government.

Earlier in November in the corp commander meeting the military top brass has concluded the Corps Commander meeting over a strong note that outlawed militants would never be allowed to gather their strengths again.

Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that the military top brass was briefed over the situation in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) in context of operation Zarb-e-Azb and Khyber-1.

The military top guns were in agreement to outlawed militants must not be allowed to gather strength at any corner of the country. Moreover, it was also noted that immediate efforts to be made for the return of Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) to their native area.
