ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said that he can not step back on establishment of military courts for the fear of personal trial but it is the need of time to take aggressive steps.
Prime Minister Nawaz sharif was addressing to house in senate about the latest challenges faced to Pakistan. He said that now its time to do or die and take immediate and aggressive steps against outlawed militants.
Talking about the death penalty moratorium he said that government respect the human rights but no one will be let free to violate other’s rights.
He said Pakistan is passing through the most difficult stage of its life and this abnormal stage requires abnormal decisions so establishment of military courts and rejection of death penalty moratorium is the need of time. He also added that if any solid will not be taken by us then it will be too late to overcome the situation.
Being a government officer he said that we should prioritize other’s life on ours and should think about the people of Pakistan. He realizing his responsibilities said that he was given this responsibility of Prime Minister to ensure the basic rights of people
He further added that no armed group will be allowed to terrorize other in the society
Appreciating the Pakistan Army’s efforts against outlawed militants he said that that Operation Zarb e Azb has broken the core structure of Taliban and he hoped that Pakistan will become a peaceful country.
