SHAKAR GARH – Indian Border Security Forces (BSF) triggered fire against Pakistani Chanab Rangers and killed two rangers, PakistanTribe received media reports.
Indian Border Security Force (BSF) triggered fire against Pakistan rangers on the post of Chak Bhooray. Two rangers killed in Indian firing.
Later on Chanab rangers also triggered defensive fire against BSF.
There are no immediate reports on possible casualties on either side however two rangers got injury in firing of BSF.
Earlier on Saturday troops from India and Pakistan have exchanged fire along the Line Of Control in Kashmir during the latest flare-up of cross-border violence between the two countries.
Indian officials said Pakistani forces using light and heavy weapons, pounded Indian army posts in Arnia sector close to the Line of Control (LoC) which divides the parts of Kashmir administered by India and Pakistan.
The officials added that Indian troops responded to the unprovoked firing from Pakistani soldiers and targeted their military posts.
