Educational Institutes Are Still Facing Security Threats.PakistanTribe.Com

ISLAMABAD – More then 300 educational institutes are declared sensitive in security point of view as they may become victim of any possible attack by outlawed militant movements, PakistanTribe received reports.

Intelligence agencies have reported the Federal government about the security situation of educational institutions in which more than 300 institutes are still not safe including 16 institutes run-by Army.

It was earlier decided to close schools, collages and universities till the first week of Jan 2015 but now intelligence agencies recommended that educational institutes should stay close till the end of Jan 2015.

Concrete evidences were received about any possible attack on the schools that is the reason all the schools around the country are still not opened.

However it is expected that till the end of current month Law Enforcing Agencies will complete the necessary security measures to safeguard the institutions.

It is worth mentioning here that two days ago Intelligence agencies had reported that security was not provided to the colleges in Lahore even after receiving threats of Attack by TTP.

Instruction were given to Punjab Police to provide security to educational institutes by Inspector General (IG) Punjab.

An intelligence agency working under IG Punjab submitted its summary about the security measures in educational institutes that poor security is provided to collages even a threat of attack is expected.

13 collages, Universities and hostels were not given any type of security. All these collages were famous collage of Lahore.
