ISLAMABAD: Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed said that enforcement of agenda at gunpoint was never acceptable and We value peace in Kabul as we do for Islamabad.
Federal Information Minister Pervez Rasheed on Sunday said in the past special military courts were set up to abolish democracy.
In a statement, Rasheed said the special trial courts to be set up now will be for saving democracy and elimination of terrorism.
Democracy and terrorism are two opposite concepts, hence they have no association, he said.
The minister said enforcement of agenda at gunpoint was never acceptable.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif played important role in making Afghanistan think with uniformity.
We value peace in Kabul as we do for Islamabad, he told.
He was of the view that Pakistan and Afghanistan will jointly fight against terrorism.
Judiciary is playing its role to eradicate terrorism from the country.
He said we have to save our generations from these beasts. The minister resolved to eliminate terrorism at all costs.
