Pakistan won against Afghanistan in T20 | PakistanTribeSHARJAH – Though Afghan batsmen did a great job to make good total but green shirts chased well at Sharjah Cricket Ground on Sunday night, PakistanTribe.com reported.

Pakistan won the match with 6 wickets in hand on the last ball of the 20th over.

Afghanistan captain Mohammad Nabi won the toss and decided to bat first in the only T20 against Pakistan in Sharjah. It was the first ever T20 between the two sides and second meeting overall. The teams had played an ODI at the same venue in February 2012.

Hafeez (not out) 42 and Ahmed Shahzad 35 batted well, Maqsood run out on 5 and Umar Akmal added 28 in Pakistan’s total.

Shinwari, Nabi and Daultat were the bowlers who took wickets for Afghanistan team.

Sharjeel Khan, the left-handed opening batsman from Hyderabad, made his international debut for Pakistan.

This match will be of help to Pakistan in preparing for the bigger games against Sri Lanka.
Pakistani skipper Mohammad Hafeez is the man of the match.
