US Will Withdraw Troops In Next Week From Afghanistan, Obama.PakistanTribe.Com

WASHINGTON DC – US President Barack Obama said that US will quit its mission in Afghanistan in next week, PakistanTribe revived international Media reports.

According to international media reports US President Barack Obama said that US will withdraw its troops from Afghanistan in the first week of January 2015. He said that Afghanistan in safer now and there is no chance for any terrorist activity.

He was talking to the soldiers of Afghanistan Mission and their families. He said that there is no chance that Afghanistan will again become the source of terrorism for US or any other country. He ensured that US is safe now and mission has completed successful.

He said that US have other missions in the world also including Iraq and still they are to some how engaged in Afghanistan.

He also talked about the rehabilitation in Afghanistan that Afghanistan is now at the stage that it can rehabilitate itself now. He talking about the International Security Assistance Force (ISAF) said that US will continue its cooperation with ISAF.

It is worth mentioning here that last week Pentagon said that Mullah Umar will not be targeted by US troops until it impose a direct threat to US.

Pentagon spokesman Rear Admiral John Kirby told that “Being a member of the Taliban does not mean that the United States is going to prosecute operations against you for that reason alone.”

He added “We have also concurred that a member of the Taliban who undertakes missions against us or our Afghan partners — by that act alone, renders himself vulnerable and liable to US action.”

Talking about the completion of mission in Afghanistan he briefed that “And in less than two weeks, after more than 13 years, our combat mission in Afghanistan will be over.”

He was asked a question that “Is Mullah and the other people on this list, are they no longer liable for their past acts in Afghanistan?”

He replying a question said that “I don’t know if I can answer that question. As the recognized leader of the Taliban to the degree the Taliban still poses a threat or poses a threat to us or to our allies, they will continue to be prosecuted by US military operations,” He concluded “I can’t really make it any more simpler than that.”

It is pertinent to mention that  mention that Mullah Umar is the same person about whom US had announced the reward of $10 million for his capture.
