ISLAMABAD – Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Maulana Fazlur Rahman said that Jamiat has constitutional reservations of the establishment of military courts, Pakistantribe learnt from televised reports.
Maulana Fazalur Rahman – Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam said that handing over the rule to Army chief is not the solution of this issue. He said that he want to adopt constitutional way whatsoever the circumstances are.
He added that military courts should be established only if there is any room for establishment of military courts.
Talking about the role of Army he said that as Army is fighting on front so army should be the part of decision making but it should be limited only for giving suggestions not to take decisions.
He also expressed his reservations that madarassas are now at hit list of propaganda. All the channels are propagating against madrassas whereas madrassas are the units of peace and Islamic education.
Concluding his views he repeated that (Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam) JUI is not against the establishment of Military courts but it still has reservation whether constitution allows it or not.
