MANSEHRA/ABBOTTABAD – Police arrested 35 Afghan migrants to Pakistan from Mansehra and Abbottabad in a search operation including three member of outlawed movement, PakistanTribe received media reports.
Police sources said that 35 Afghan migrants were arrested in a search operation out of them three are members of outlawed militant group.
Police told that these Afghan were arrested for not having identity documents. It was said that they will be released and send back in Afghanistan after initial investigations.
Police revealed that all the five persons arrested from Abbottabad have links with Taliban and they have been shifted to HariPur and Mansehra Jails according to 3MPO of Police act.
Operation was launched in Abbottabd city, Nawan Shehr, Takiya and Dhamtor areas. No weapon and ammunition have been reported to recover from these militants.
Earlier in Attock Police arrested 139 suspects from different places of Attock city in a search operation. According to sources police arrested 139 suspects from different areas of attock. Police sources told that the search operation was conducted on the intelligence reports received.
Police had recovered weapons and ammunition during the search operation. Police sources told that pistols, rifles and heavy explosive material was recovered from the suspects.
