ISLAMABAD – The 138th birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah will celebrate with national spirit and enthusiasm across the country today Thursday on 25th December.
National flag will be hoisted at all government buildings across the country. The day dawn with special prayers in Mosques for Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah and prosperity and development of the country.
Quaid-i-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was born on December 25, 1876 in Karachi.Quaid e Azam was a lawyer, politician and the founder of Pakistan. He got his early education at Karachi and at the age of 16 he went to England for further studies.
In 1896, Jinnah qualified for the Bar and in 1897 was called to the Bar. It was his struggle that despite stiff opposition from the Hindu Congress and the British Govt. Muslims of Sub continent managed to get their own home land on August 14, 1947.
Jinnah was a man of principles. The Quaid also desired that every citizen should have equal opportunities of education, health, progress and justice.
He stood for constitutionalism, rule of law, respect for human rights, justice for all and equality. This is why his golden slogans of Unity, Faith and Discipline, had inspired the Muslims of the subcontinent to achieve a separate state for themselves in South Asia.
Quaid- e- Azam was man of principle and farsighted statesman and even his opponents had acknowledged his flawless and exemplary character.
