ISLAMABAD – Police arrested seven terrorists in a search operation in Margalla hills and recovered heavy ammunition from the terrorists, PakistanTribe reported.
Police in coordination with rangers launched a search operation and arrested seven terrorists from Margalla Hills and a village Gokeena.
It was a five hours long search operation conducted on the intelligence reports.
According to sources of Kohsar Police Station suspects have revealed important secrets of terrorists. Police is investigating the suspects for further details.
Earlier last week , Police, Rangers and intelligence agencies carried out a joint operation in Shehzad Town Islamabad and arrested alleged Afghan terrorist along with eight other suspects.
Documents and fake stamps were recovered from the terrorist suspected to be Afghan who has now been given in the custody of the intelligence agency for interrogation whereas weapons were recovered from eight other suspects.
According to a police source search operations were carried out in various areas on the orders of Inspector General (IG) Police. He informed that search operations in the jurisdiction of various police stations would be carried out every third day.
Adjoining areas of Islamabad are also under watch of intelligence agencies and operations are conducted on the base of intelligence evidences.
It is worth mentioning that one day ago police arrest suspects from four different areas of Attock city and recovered heavy ammunition from them including rifles, pistols and explosive.
