QUETTA – A bomb blast reported in capital city of Baluchistan at price road killing 26 people and several injured, PakistanTribe reported.
A bomb blast reported at prince road Quetta in which 26 people died and many injured. Sources told that the bomb was remote controlled and planted in a motorbike.
Talking about the intensity of the bomb an official of Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) told that “Approximately, five kilograms of explosives were used in the explosion,” he added that “nut, bolts and steel nails were used to cause maximse the damages and casualties.”
The spot was a food point on prince road near junction Chowk where ladies and children were also gathered for dining.
Police sources told that “Many people were injured in the blast and the bomb was planted in motorbike which was parked outside busy market, Liaqut Bazar,” police source added “the blast was so much intense that glasses of nearby building ans shops were smashed.”
According to medics at the hospital, “At least 26 injured were brought here after the blast. Two of them are about eight to nine years old.”
Six injured persons are reported to be in critical stage.
It is pertinent to mention that the same time president of Pakistan Mamnoon Hussain was dinning in Governor House when the bomb blasted on Prince Road.
It is also important to highlight that government has approved the proposal of establishing of military courts to combat terrorism.
