ASSAM – National Democratic Front of Bodoland (NDFB) a militant group in Assam India killed 52 tribal people including ladies and children, PakistanTribe received international media reports.
Militant group in indian state Assam killed 52 people of bodo tribe including women and 13 children in two district of Assam at four different places.
Sources revealed that this action was a retaliation from the bodo militant group as two men of bodo militant group (NDFB) was killed by the forces. Indian military has imposed curfew and took the control of the state.
Brutal killing in two districts of Assam – Kokrajhar district and Sonitpur district – have shook the ministries and in response the chief minister of state Tarun Gogoi said his government would go ahead with counter-insurgency operations.
It was reported by witnesses that the militants of NDFB came on foot, wearing military uniforms and carrying AK-47 rifles according to witnesses.
This attack was not a sudden attack as the NDFB had already warned government for massive retaliation and attack on tribal people or on security forces for killing two members of it.
Earlier a joint operation by police and Army personnel on Sunday had left two militants dead. Heavy ammunition was also seized from the militants.
Chief Minister of Assam Tarun Gogoi has determinedly said that there will be a clear operation against the insurgents of NDFB because it is not only a crime against state but also a crime against humanity as they killed innocent civilian including children and women.
