ISLAMABAD: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Senator Farhatullah Babar said that this country was established on the name of Islam and now it is facing threats by Islam so Moulanas like Abdul Aziz should be banned.
Senator Farhatullah Babar addressing in the senate said that the Mauulanas like Abdul Aziz should be banned in Pakistan and no masjid should be given in the supervision of extremist Maulanas.
He criticized on government saying that Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar had presented a security policy but he did not allocate budget for the same.
He presented his six points to combat terrorism. Pointing to Maulana Abdul Aziz he said that TTP is a national threat and supporters of TTP should also be declared as terrorists.
He also recommended that we should not go out of the borders and our operations should limit in the territory of Pakistan. Another Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) senator Tahir Mashadi said without naming anyone “someone would once again resort to wearing a Burqa, if the Army launched a crackdown”.
