PESHAWAR – Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said that its time to take calculated and accurate steps to overcome the giant of terrorism, PakistanTribe received media reports.
Imran Khan talking about the recent deadliest attack on the children said that it was the most deadliest and merciless act by the Taliban but the positive thing is that all the Pakistani political parties get united against terrorism.
Imran Khan also gave some recommendations to combat terrorism. He talked about long terms and short terms steps which should be taken by federal government.
PTI Chairman said that our first demand from Federal government is to deploy frontier infantry to its real role which was border security as KPK is the war affected area
Secondly he said that SIM cards (Subscriber Identity Modules) which are illegal may be blocked and only those should be left activated which are registered properly.
Thirdly he pointed out that maximum visa granted to Afghanistan is 500 daily but actual figure are much higher than that. Terrorists come from Afghanistan and disperse into tribal areas so border should be checked.
Talking about the economic burden he told that 1.7 million afghans and 2 million IDPs are financial burden on the KPK government. He asked for financial help from federal to take care of the migrants. Also he requested for recruitment of new police 5000 from tribal area (FATA) for KPK security.
He also gave another recommendation that Illegal Afghan should be treated as per law. We should make a plan to send them back to their native mother land.
Securing the educational institutes he said that schools before reopening be checked thoroughly in security point of view to avoid such incident in future
Another demand from federal government is to establish the the intelligence setup for tracing of calls. He said that police is helpless because they do not have necessary equipment to trace the calls of terrorism.
