PESHAWAR: Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan and visited Peshawar’s Army Public School accompanied with Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Pervez Khattak.
Around 144 people including 132 children and nine staff members were killed when Taliban gunmen stormed into Army Public School on Tuesday.
The two PTI leaders visited different parts of the school.
The vehicles of Pervez Khattak and Imran Khan were allowed inside the school after strict checking. However, provincial minister Ali Ameen Gandapur was allowed to go inside the school after checking.
The parents of the children who were killed in the attack said that they had voted for change but they can’t see it happening. The mothers demanded public hangings of the terrorists involved in the attack on the army run school.
“Our children are being killed. This is not change”, said the grieving parents.
Imran Khan also met with the family of the slain principal Tahira Qazi and extended his condolence to the grieving family. He also offered Fateha for the departed soul.
