ISLAMABAD – The security of three largest prisons in Pakistan’s southern province Sindh has been handed-over to the Army, PakistanTribe.com reported.
According to the PakistanTribe’s (PT) correspondents from Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur, the prisons located in the cities is now under Pakistan Army’s control.
It is worth mentioning here that the fate of 17 different terrorists will be decided in next week.
Prime Minister of Pakistan had announced to lift the ban on capital punishment in the country after the deadliest attack on Peshawar’s Army Public School on December 16, 2014.
Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the media department of Pakistan Armed Forces has confirmed the development and said that new security has been deployed on Karachi, Hyderabad and Sukkur’s prisons.
26 prisoners are waiting to receive death sentence in Karachi and Sukkur prisons.
