BENGALURU – Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) has launched its the biggest ever rocket into the space successfully, PakistanTribe Received international media reports.
India has launched its the biggest ever rocket into the space that weighs 630 m.tonnes and capable of carrying a four m.tonnes. The total cost of the mission was US $25 Million.
The rocket which is especially designed carry heavier satellites into higher orbit blasted off from Sriharikota in the south-east state of Andhra Pradesh in a test mission.
Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) chairman KS Radhakrishnan stated that “This was a very significant day in the history of Indian space programme.”
India is competing in global space market since long but it was the biggest ever rocket sent by India. It is considered “a boost for India’s attempts to grab a greater slice of the $300bn global space market.” according to ISRO scientists.
Talking to media director of the mission Somnath said “India, you have a new launch vehicle with you. We have made it again.” He added “The powerful launch vehicle has come to shape, which will change our destiny by placing heavier spacecraft into communications orbits.”
The Indian prime minister, Narendra Modi, said that “yet another triumph of brilliance and hard work of our scientists”.
