ISLAMABAD – Asian Development Bank approved loan of US $42.9 million for war affectee area Federal Administrative Tribal Area (FATA), PakistanTribe received international media reports.
Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved the loan of US $42.9 million for the people of FATA. The loan will be utilized in irrigation and to improve agriculture sector of that area.
This amount will be given to three tribal agencies which are Khyber Agency, Bajaur Agency and Mohmand agency for agricultural development in the sector.
Asian Development Bank (ADB) stated that due to this loan the people of Tribal Area (FATA) will able to increase their income.
Further Asian Development Bank added that the regional countries will get befit of decrease in oil prices.
It is pertinent to mention that due to war against terrorism the people of FATA have badly suffered in their economic and social life and economic activities gone slow to dead.
Further the focus on agriculture in this area will also help people to earn from agriculture instead of ammunition because FATA was the largest business hub of ammunition in Pakistan.
