KHYBER AGENCY: Five Taliban militants were killed in a drone strike near Pak-Afghan border, PakistanTribe.com reported.
Sources reports that five Taliban militants were reported killed when a United States drone fired two missiles at Pak-Afghan border area of Kot.
It should be noted that the US continues its drone operations against terrorist organizations in North and South Waziristan tribal areas. Countless militants and civilian deaths have been reported since the US started the drone attacks in 2003.
The Pakistani government and political parties of the country have been protesting against the Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) attacks.
Earlier on Thursday, According to ISPR, at least 57 terrorists were killed in air strikes carried out by the Pakistani military in Khyber Agency’s Tirah Valley on Wednesday.
The Army Chief was briefed that 57 more terrorist killed in 20 recent air-strikes in Tirrah Valley. The fresh operation was launched after Tuesday’s tragic incident, in which at least 145 people mostly school children died
The ISPR has said that the militants are trying to flee the country, but the forces are targeting all of them and are determined to eliminate the terrorism menace from the country.
