ANKARA/PESHAWAR – Turkey declared National mourning for a day due to Peshawar School Attack in Pakistan, PakistanTribe received international media reports.
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu announced the declaration of national mourning during a conference in Ankara. He was in meeting with his counterpart from Chad.
Further President Tayyip Erdogan called up Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday evening and condemned the brutal act of terror in a Peshawar school killing innocent people. He asked about the injured people and ensured his sympathy with Pakistan.
Showing his solidarity with Pakistani nation, the Turkish president conveyed his condolences to the families of innocent kids and people.
Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu also spoke to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and expressed sympathy, grief and solidarity with the people of Pakistan from the people of Turkey.
He told Nawaz Sharif that he has announced one-day mourning in Turkey on this tragic incident and people of Turkey can feel the pain of Pakistani. He ensured that Turkey is standing with Pakistan at this hard time.
Nawaz Sharif thanked the leaders of Turkey and said Pakistan stands firm to eradicate terrorism from its land and that all possible efforts will be maintained to bring stability in the region.
