RAWALAPINDI – Anti Terrorim Court has declared Chief of Pakistani Awami Tehreek (PAT) Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri wanted for Motorway riot. Court has ordered that the criminals should be presented in court.
Anti Terrorism Court has declared Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri wanted for Motorway riot on Monday. Court also ordered to seize the property of Pat chief.
Wanted posters of Tahir ul Qadri placed outside the houses of PAT leaders, roads and outside the court as well.
The court no-II of the ATC also issued arrest warrants for the PAT chief as he failed to appear before the court despite repeated summons.
PAT workers had gathered at the Lilla Interchange and staged a protest demonstration onQadri’s call couple of months back. The workers had allegedly attacked and injured police officials, after which they were arrested and charged under the Anti Terrorism Act.
Dr. Qadri is currently in the United States for his heart treatment, and recently he has undergone an angiography. The doctors have advised him complete rest for at least a month.
