SHARJAH – Pakistan beat New Zealand by 147 runs as New Zealand was all out for 217 runs in response to Pakistan’s massive total of 364 runs.

Stand in Shahid Afridi and Haris Sohail took three wickets each, Mohammad Irfan got 2 while Ahmed Shehzad and Wahab Riaz secured 1 each. Pakistan now leads the five match series by 2-1.

New Zealand kept losing wickets at regular intervals and was finally bowled out for 217 runs, falling short of their target by 148 runs.

Pakistan sets massive 365 run target for New Zealand in 3rd ODI. Kiwi bowlers were all over the place as Afridi, Sarfraz, Sohail muscled them to all parts of ground.

Pakistan carried on with what Ahmed Shehzad and Mohammad Hafeez had set up at the start of the innings and scored a massive total of 364 runs to set a gigantic target for the Kiwis in the 3rd One Day International (ODI) at Sharjah.

Ahmed Shehzad scored 113 runs and remains top scorer from Pakistan side.

Shahid Afridi muscled the Kiwi bowlers to all parts of the ground to score 55 off just 26 balls with the help of 6 boundaries and 3 sixes and take two catches.

Matt Henry took three wickets. McClenaghan and Anderson took one wicket each
