MUMBAI – Indian film star Salman Khan became richest Bollywood celebrity in India after pushing Sharukh Khan from top to third in the list.
Arch rivals turned friends, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan both make it to the list. While Shahrukh Khan was ranked No.1 on the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list last year, Salman has replaced him on the numero uno position this year.
The two Khans seem to have exchanged positions on the list with Sharukh Khan coming third. The Dabangg actor rakes in an estimated Rs 244.50 crore through films and endorsements. Salman has actively been working on his charitable foundation Being Human which contributes to the poor and needy.
The actor has had blockbusters to his credit including Kick, Dabangg, Dabangg 2and Ek Tha Tiger to name a few.
Sharukh Khan (SRK) is now on third place in the list of richest celebrities of Bollywood. He’s the baadshah of Bollywood and rightly so. Apart from his long standing career in the Hindi film industry, his personal life, his controversies, there’s another reason why SRK stands out from the crowd. The actor has made it to the Forbes India Celebrity 100 list but this time he has descended from the 1st position to the 3rd.
The actor makes Rs.202.40 crore through films and his many endorsements. SRK’s last release Happy New Year broke all records at the box-office and was one of the highest earning films of 2014.
