KARACHI: Activists of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) blocked different parts of Karachi as the party implements “Plan C” on Friday, PakistanTribe reported.
PTI workers are staging sit-in on at least 24 locations of the metropolis, which include Hasan Square, Nursery, Numaish roundabout, Star Gate, Steel Tow, National Highway, Sohrab Goth, Native Jetty, Sher Shah, Kalapul, Mauripur, Five Star roundabout, Habib Bank roundabout, Bilal roundabout, Sultanabad, Hub River Road, M.P.R. Colony and Dawood roundabout.
The roads leading to the protest sites have been closed whereas citizens have to takealternative routes to reach their destination. The citizens are facing severe problems in reaching the educational centres and offices.
Sindh Government had announced that all educational centres will be open despite the protests across the city. The students, who are to sit in their examinations today, are also facing problems in reaching their respective school, college and university.
PTI chief Imran Khan is scheduled to arrive in Karachi at 2pm and address his supporters around 3pm.

Explaining his move to shut down cities as part of his Azadi march, Imran says he apologizes for the trouble it is causing but it is necessary to put pressure on the government.
The party, in its schedule, has stated that PTI leaders Arif Alvi, Azam Swati, Asad Umar, Ali Zaidi, Firdous Naqvi, Subhan Sahil and Naz Baloch will lead the protests here in Karachi.
