SIALKOT: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain on Wednesday condemned the brutal killing of MQM Sialkot’s district vice president Bao Muhammad Anwar.
An office-bearer of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Sialkot was shot down by unknown assailants on Wednesday.
According to details, MQM’s Sialkot District Vice President, Bao Muhammed Anwar, was standing outside his restaurant located on Shahabpura Road area of the city, when unidentified miscreants opened fire at him, killing him on the spot.
Altaf Hussain asked government to arrest the killers as soon as possible adding that the killingof political workers is a big question mark on the performance of Punjab government.
Cheif Minister of Punjab Shehbaz Sharif take the notice of incident.
In a statement issued by the party, unknown assailants opened fire on MQM leader when he was standing outside his restaurant on Shahab Pura road.
It was a targeted attack as he was killed after being identified by the attackers. The attack also left two of the restaurant employees Muneer and Younus injured.
Altaf Hussain also demanded Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif and Governor Chaudhry Muhammed Sarwar to immediately take notice of the killing and arrest the assassins of MQM leader at the earliest.
