Funeral Prayers of PTI Worker Haq Nawaz offered in Faisalabad | PakistanTribe.com

Faisalabad -Funeral prayer Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf’s (PTI’s) worker activist Haq Nawaz was offered in Faisalabad on Tuesday, PakistanTribe reported.

Haq Nawaz died of bullet injuries sustained during a clash with police and Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) supporters a day before.

 After the unfortunate death of the 22 year old PTI activist, the party had called for protests andannounced a day of mourning across the country.

 PTI announced to observe the day of mourning today over yesterday’s killing of workers in Faisalabad.

Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) and Majlis Wahdat-ul-Muslimeen (MWM) Pakistan also pledged their support for today’s mourning. A delegation of the two parties will attend the funeral prayers.

Meantime, PTI is all geared up to get its protest off the ground in Faisalabad following the killing of its workers.

The PTI will also hit the roads to protest across the country. The funeral prayer will be offered in absentia in different cities.

The PTI announced to take out a rally from Peshawar Press Club and lay siege to Governor House today.Leader of PTI Nadir Akmal Leghari also planned a protest demonstration in Karachi’s Regal Chowk today.

Contrarily, the capital police readied a security plan, according to which, at least 1500 personnel of police force have been deployed to stand guard on different locations around the capital in order to divert today’s potentially volatile situation from turning into flashpoint.

The police sources asserted roads will not be allowed to be closed today on the occasion; however, no action will be cranked up against the peaceful demonstrators.
