RAWALPINDI – The Police has recovered heavy ammunition from a car near Chakri Interchange of Lahore Motorway (M-2) ultimately securing Rawalpindi from possible terrorist attack, PakistanTribe learnt from correspondent reports.
The motorway police sources confirmed the recovery of assault rifles and ammunition from the vehicle. The guns were AK-47 with hundreds of rounds of bullets.
Police sources also claimed to have arrested one Muhammad Nawaz – driver of the vehicle – and shifted him to Chontra Police Station for further interrogation.
