NEW DEHLI –  England Hockey team beat Pakistan by 8-2 in second match of Champions Trophy and  this is second consecutive defeat for Pakistan Hockey team in the tournament.

Pakistan team lost second match in champions trophy. Pakistan team scored only two goals on the other hand England team scored eight goals on Sunday.

Interestingly, talking to media before the departure of the Pakistani team, coach Shahnaz said the boys had worked hard to prepare for the big event and would look to rectify the short comings of the Incheon Asian Games. He said they would try their level best to win the tournament and bring consistency in their performances.

After five grueling months of training and preparations, the Pakistan team are ready to face the top sides from around the world in the Champions Trophy, which will be taking place at the Kalinga Hockey Stadium in Bhubaneswar “I, along with my support staff, have worked extremely hard with the players for the past five months, trying to fix their techniques. We believe that this has led to improvements, as was evident at the Asian Games.”
