LAHORE – The Punjab’s President of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Ijaz Chaudhry has filed the petition in Lahore High Court (LHC) challenging the television advertisement campaign of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif.
The petition was filed with LHC on Saturday by the PTI leader.
PTI leader maintained in the petition that public money was used to project Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif in television ads.
Not to forget that government has run an anti-PTI campaign on almost all major television channels before November 30 Rally. The ads contain the video clips of PTI leaders – majorly Imran Khan – in which they were seen inciting violence.
It is also pertinent to mention here that none of the Pakistani journalists openly revealed the source which ran those ads.
